  • While you are here, check out the hot rods, street car, show bikes, and customs, listen to great live music from North of Memphis, and lay eyes on the beautiful models in our pinup contest! And bring the little ones for the pedal car drags! BUT WAIT… There’s MORE! Giveaways and door prizes will be awarded to a lucky few, and food and drink along with vendors will be on site! Saturday, July 15 - Harbor Country Rib Fest

Saturday, July 29 - Cocktails at The Grand Cottage

  • The 8th Annual “Cocktails at the Grand Cottage” fundraiser for Michiana Humane Society will feature scrumptious appetizers, cocktails and amazing items in a live auction. It’s all to support the care of the nearly 1,200 unwanted animals the shelter takes in each year. Tickets are $100 per person. RSVP by Monday, July 24, 2017 by calling 219-872-4499 or order online.

Halloween Parade - Trick or Treat

October 29, 2017 to October 29, 2017

Judging will start at 1pm (EST) and the Halloween Parade will commence at 1:45pm in downtown New Buffalo. The route will start on N. Thompson St. and conclude at the City of New Buffalo’s Fire Station.

Trick or Treating will be from 2:30-4:30pm. Come out and cheer on the kids, have treats ready and celebrate Halloween the New Buffalo way!

The New Buffalo Halloween Parade is a pro bono community event organized and managed by the Halloween Committee of volunteers in the area. Any donations or sponsorships are appropriated to the City of New Buffalo Halloween Fund and activities surrounding this event. ​Thank you for helping to support these events!

Gnome on the Roam

November 24, 2017 to December 23, 2017

“Gnome of the Roam” hunt is fun way to shop, support, and explore our area while enjoying hunting for the little guys at each participating location throughout the holiday season. Cards can be picked up at each businesses that will host one of 30 Gnomes. Located the Gnome at each location, have the business mark it off your list and when your card is complete be entered to win a holiday gift basket filled with goodies from our local retailers and services, valuing over $450. Michigan’s Longest Garage Sale

August 7, 2015 to August 9, 2015

“Michigan’s longest garage sale” is getting ready for another year. It runs along US-12 Heritage Trail stretching more than 200 miles from New Buffalo to Detroit and now in its 12th year, organizers say it only continues to grow with more people getting involved. So get ready for crowds roaming the streets of New Buffalo and looking for bargains on August 7th-9th.

Downtown New Buffalo retailers and businesses will be holding “Side Walk Sales” throughout the weekend in conjunction with this garage sale event - address to start 100 N. Whittaker Street

Other locations include: Fri – Sun, Baptist Church 1615 E Buffalo Street and American Hellenic Cultural Center, 17760 Behner Rd, New Buffalo (both locations located on US 12)

Join the NBBA as we host a our annual membership meeting at the New Buffalo Yacht Club, Thursday, December 11th. We will start at 6pm with announcements and several updates from Barry Griffin, Board President of the NBBA, including a recap of 2014, new members, kick off of the 2015 events schedule, and voting for 2015 board members. Stay afterwards and kick off the holiday season with some cheer with fellow members ~ appetizers will be served ~ cash bar.

New Buffalo Easter Egg Hunt

Enjoy a fun-filled family time with the Easter Bunny and the Annual Easter Egg Hunt in New Buffalo. Free and open to children ages 1-12. Every child can visit with the Easter Bunny afterwards and refreshments/goodies to be provided. The egg hurt will start at 1:00 pm at American Legion US 12, New Buffalo.

12th Annual Harvest & Wine Festival

October 7, 2017 to October 7, 2017

In celebration of the harvest in Southwest Michigan, this one day event boasts award-winning wines from regional vineyards along craft beers and hard-ciders, all under one roof! Join us Noon to 9pm (EST) at Lions Beachfront Park, downtown New Buffalo. Come rain or shine, the event is tented so you can come out and stay all day! $5 entrance fee per adult, kids under 12 are free!
