In true beach celebration style, this week is filled with surfing demos, concerts, fireworks, 5k run and more! We are pleased to announce that the LaPorte County Symphony Orchestra will perform this year under the baton of Bob Bernhardt, the Principal Pops Conductor for the Grand Rapids Symphony, The Louisville Orchestra and the Chattanooga Symphony.

The New Buffalo Independence Celebration week are pro bono community events organized and managed by the NBBA, businesses, and volunteers in our area. Ship and Shore is back in 2019! A 3-day festival bringing live music to New Buffalo while also highlighting the wonderful lakefront amenities in New Buffalo, including a beautiful beach and harbor, fishing tours, surfing, and of course the great shopping and dining. In celebration of the harvest in Southwest Michigan, this one day event boasts award-winning wines from regional vineyards along craft beers and hard-ciders, all under one roof!
