For nearly sixty-five years, this building has been the home of restaurants serving residents and guests of the Harbor Country area. The Karagan family began their successful years in the 1940's. 1968 saw change and Giovanis began. The 1970's and early 1980's saw "The Depot" and "Old Wharf" each taking their turn. June of 1984 was the beginning of the Beachwood, combining an interest in food and antiques into one locale. Our goal then and now is to provide you the finest, freshest, best prepared food possible.

Open to the public, we are located in the New Buffalo region of the beautiful and scenic southwest Michigan's Harbor Country. Our championship course, designed by Ken Killian, sprawls over 400 acres of natural wetlands and wooded areas, which surrounds our future home sites.
